The production process of Prosecco Rosé Millesimato follows the same Charmat method used for traditional Prosecco. The history of Prosecco Rosé Millesimato is relatively recent compared to traditional Prosecco. Prosecco Rosé Millesimato is a sparkling wine made from Prosecco grapes and a small percentage of red grape varieties, typically Pinot Noir or Pinot Nero. The production of Prosecco Rosé Millesimato was officially authorized by the Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC in 2020. Prior to this, the use of red grape varieties in Prosecco was not allowed, and Prosecco was exclusively a white wine. The introduction of Prosecco Rosé Millesimato was a response to the growing demand for rosé wines around the world. By combining the freshness and fruity characteristics of Prosecco with the delicate flavors and appealing color of rosé, Prosecco Rosé Millesimato offers a new and enticing option for wine lovers.
